A Virtual Event Spotlighting Local Economic Development through Strengthening the New Mexico Food Value Chain
The tighter the link between a community’s food and agricultural entrepreneurs and their support systems, the more economically vibrant that community will be—and with the entrepreneurs ultimately being more successful, we open doors to increased access to local food throughout the state.
This event will provide an opportunity for food and agricultural entrepreneurs and organizations that support them to share perspectives and learn about programs and key policy initiatives that are helping grow our food economy, get access to resources and build the resiliency of our regional food system as we head into 2021..and beyond!
- Main Program runs from 2:00 – 4:00 PM MST
- Resource Expo runs from 1:00-2:00 & 4:00-5;00 PM MST
About ESHIP Communities Rio Grande:
ESHIP Rio Grande is a regional initiative aligning entrepreneurial ecosystem building efforts in the food and agricultural sector with value chain work pioneered by local champions. We are building upon a legacy of community leaders throughout the state of New Mexico. Our local engagement is currently one of four areas in the country participating in the ESHIP Communities program, a grassroots initiative which places inclusion, relationships and collaboration across networks at the core of local entrepreneurship and the foundation of a thriving local economy.
