Charlene is a member of the village of Laguna Pueblo, NM; born of the parrot clan and for the water clan. Her education background is in soil science from NMSU and she serves NM with 8 years of tribal agricultural outreach service. She currently is the Program Coordinator for the Indian Resources Development – NMSU to provide educational and professional development opportunities for NM Native American students and supports NM tribes in developing their agriculture, natural resources, engineering, and business endeavors.
