Providing the resources and knowledge land managers need to nurture the healthiest soil possible is at the core of our mission. One of the key challenges farmers face is access to the right tools and equipment to implement the soil health principles effectively. To address this problem, NM Healthy Soil is compiling a comprehensive database of tool and equipment sharing programs available across the state.

This directory offers a wealth of information from various organizations, including Soil and Water Districts, community farms, and both private and publicly funded entities. You’ll find details on the equipment available for rent or borrowing, contact information for program coordinators, the check-out process, rental costs, operating hours, and any program-specific restrictions. (Because our focus is on equipment that can be used to support soil health, entities listed may offer additional equipment not cataloged here.)

The directory is a living document that we will continue to add to as new information becomes available. If you know of a sharing program that is not listed, please let us know!
How to use the directory:

You can locate organizations by name, then scroll horizontally for information about that organization’s tool sharing program. Click the plus sign to expand a cell.

Use the search field above the top right corner of the database to search for a particular tool or keyword.

→ Scroll horizontally to access all available information
