Join NM Healthy Soil Working Group in Taos for a presentation by Zach Weiss, founder of Water Stories, followed by a local resource fair! Learn about restoring the water cycle to rehydrate the land and meet local community organizations who can help apply those concepts.

Zach Weiss is the founder of WaterStories.com, a learning, training, and action platform focused entirely on Water Cycle Restoration. Water Stories offers a community-centered approach to solving our most pressing environmental crises, such as drought, flood, fire, and pollution.

In hands-on workshops and through an online community, Water Stories empowers people to create healthy landscapes and water abundance by transforming watersheds into water-catchments. People around the world are learning how to quickly create real substantive change for the health of their landscapes and communities by working with water.

Zach Weiss also offers custom design services for clients all over the US: “Our specialty is reshaping the earth to positively influence the flow of water to increase the health of the land and the ecosystem it supports. Our designs blend the client’s goals with what is best for the optimal health of the land. Some examples of earthworks that we install include the following: earthen-dam ponds, terraces, erosion control features, flood mitigation features, rain gardens, and habitat enhancement features.”
